Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta!

A great show sponsored by Canon. Not only was Canon onsite and available for questions, they also loaned out their gear to anyone who was there for the show (while supplies lasted).

Being able to see this great show in person was inspiring. Seeing so many people gather together to watch hot air balloons take off from the ground was a must see (scratched off the bucket list). Hundreds of unique hot air art work was fired up and slowly made their way across the field while thousands of onlookers watch and cheered on the owners.

The crowds gathered by the hundreds to see the balloons. Everyone was climbing on anything they could to get the best vantage point for video & still photos.

As you walk around the grounds you will hear whistles blowing. Once a whistle has blown a balloon nearby will take flight followed by the crowd cheering.

I hope you have enjoyed my view of this spectacular event seen by very few!
